Hey everyone... for those of you who are interested, I am officially enrolled in the
ACT Teaching program here in San Antonio. My institute (not religion, that's just what they call it) classes start on Sept. 28 and go till the middle of November. The classes are 4 nights a week and saturdays. I have a review session in July for my TeXes Exams, which I have to pass before I can apply for any jobs. The nice thing is that once I pass that, since I am enrolled in the program, I could technically get a teaching job for this coming school year. However, as that is a little soon, I am planning on getting a teaching job for January. Plus, I need time to take my ESL TeXes exam on top of the EC-4 generalist. (I am much more employable being ESL certified) And for all of you who are thinking, wait, does she know spanish?, you don't have to know spanish to teach ESL classes. Plus for those of you who don't remember I already have taught an ESL class in Orem, so I'm pretty much an expert. I know this isnt as prestigious as medical school and I guess "technically" the TeXes exam may not be as difficult as the MCAT, but I'm excited nonetheless. Anyway, it's weird to think that I'll be a real teacher in less than a year. And now for some cute pictures of Oliver:
this ones for his modeling portfolio

Here, he is doing his constipation face

And this ones just a playful candid shot

Oh...and something cool. Yesterday we were at Chad and Jenns and he pulled himself up to a standing position while holding on to their ottoman. First time! Chad must bring it out in him.

Hey, is that a picture of Aiden? j/k Dad.
Congratulations, Samantha. I can't say that I'm proud of you because that sounds so patronizing. Good luck---I'm excited for you.
Have you taught him "Blue Steel" yet? I can see his modeling career brightening before my eyes, just like mine was before I had to turn down the modeling offers I used to continually get to proceed with a more noble effort. I just haven't figured out what that "noble effort" is yet.
