Dr. Suess
"Oh the places you'll go and the people you'll meet!" After much thought and provoking meditation Dad and I have decided that the trip we will take will be to Gran Bahi Principe Riviera Maya (Mexico). It's located on the eastside of the Yucatan Peninsula only a 60 minute drive away from the Cancun airport. We took everyone's thoughts and opinions in to consideration and Nick's came out on top. We are leaving on May 13 and coming home on May 20. Your dad was finally recognized as "Bank Manager of the Year" and we won a trip. We are way excited!!!!!!

I'm going to be an M.D.
I just wanted to share my exciting news with the whole family at once. I was notified today that I was accepted at Drexel University College of Medicine. This was my first choice of medical schools, and since I have already taken two-thirds of the first year courses, I should have an easier year than my classmates. I am really excited and can't wait to learn how to fix all that ails us.

It's about time
Well, Trevor, it is about time!! You've been talking so much about her lately that it became necessary that you ask her out. Yes, it is true. I finally went out on a date that I actually wanted to go on. That would make the tally marks look somewhat like this: ll. For some of you, dating might have been just as common as studying in the library (wait, that doesn't prove anything), or maybe bearing your testimony (oh wait, that doesn't work out either). Well, I imagine you get the point. So, anyway, we decided to go out to eat at Cafe Rio and then afterwards we went to the hilarious comedy show, Divine Comedy, where they countinued to scoff at BYU standards and culture. At the end of the night we ended with a modest hug (I went over-over) and said goodbye. (Are you sure?) I know some of you may be thinking as to the slick moves that I may have pulled on her. Well, even though I had quite a bit of success in the past, I denied farting in front of her or telling her my b.m. stories from the mission. No, instead I just was myself (which is probably scary in and of itself). She seemed to have fun (I mean, who wouldn't with a Tustison), and we had fun with each other.
The girl's name is Christine (goes by Chris) and she is from South Jordan (I mean, that's good, right, that she is from there, right) and she works at CMS. This is the same girl that I told that she had thought that I was attactive (if you don't know the story, you are really not missing out on much). Who knows what happens now. I don't think I have ever been in the situation of asking for a second date (the girls have always done the asking) so who knows.

Jenn saved the party
As we all know, Jenn lives half way across the country from me, but clear from Texas, she saved my party last night. You see, people here apparently don't think you need a baby shower if you are having a second or subsequent child even if it's a different gender or totally opposite time of year, so I had to trick them into coming by making it a "pamper yourself and the soon to be two-time mom" party. We had light snacks and desserts, and we all sat around doing pedicures and manicures on ourselves. Then one of the clumsy pregnant girls dropped her nail polish on the carpet, and the whole party came to a crashing halt. Because Jenn had passed on the great tip that Windex gets nail polish out of the carpet, I stayed totally calm, got the windex, and taught everyone Jenn's priceless secret. Al my guests were amazed, and we continued yapping for two more hours. Way to save the party, Jenn.
