Aiden was the recipient of what will become a family heirloom --- one of Mom's felt mobiles with the puffball animals. Anytime she laments her sewing ineptitude, simply point her to one of these creative classics. For some reason, it has sparked a recent fascination with Aiden. Perhaps it's due to its unreachability that Aiden is constantly trying to blow it down.

The mobiles that mom made for the boys had some casualties when they started reaching up and pulling them down. Make sure Aiden doesn't get a big orange felt ball sucked up his nose.
(Speaking of Mom's sewing prowess, let us not forget the Burmies(sp?) shorts. I wish I still had the ones she made for me. They would make good workout shorts.)
I feel a sense of worthness to know that I can make something that will live in infamy for the grandkids. I told Samantha that the sisters-in-laws will make all the cute blankets and stuff. I didn't get that gene. But I can make a mobile. Whoopee!!!!As for the shorts, I think you guys wore them until you graduated from high school, didn't you? Way to keep your body in shape. Hey, I still have some of that material. I guess going to R.S Homemaking Mtg. (as they called it in them days)paid off. I learned both of those crafts there.
