We were making dinner (Chad and Jenn's fabulous Coke beef recipe (by the way, we used Lime Coke and it was excellent)), and as Mayka was cutting the limes, she said:
"I miss Tucanos. I would even eat some bacon-wrapped turkey."
Shock of the century, I know. I'm still trying to get over it.

Mayka shocked me the last time we were in Baltimore when she took a draught of Cherry Coke, belched, and then said to me "Don't tell Jim and Grace."
(Okay, maybe she didn't belch but the other events occurred as described without any embellishment.)
Does that mean Mayka will have some delicious chorizo burritos on Christmas morning?
I thought I was fired when I asked Sam and Riley if they wanted to go to the park as we were leaving to return to Philadelphia. The look on Mayka's face was priceless.
