Class of 2013

I'm leaving. I guess I just haven't shared it out loud, but no longer will I be known as Mr. T but rather my standard name as I take on a different role as a graduate student. I'll be a graduate student at Texas A&M in the Masters Program in International Affairs with a concentration in National Security and Diplomacy. Some might ask "why would I give up such a great gig with so much time off, being surrounded by 80+ 12 year-olds?" Believe it or not, it was a tough decision but then I went back to school the next day and i remembered how it is daily:

Too true...at least they are taking turns talking though and not beating up each other during the lesson.

At least you got the summers off... (j/k)

I think the path you've taken is remarkable. Not many folks have real teaching experience. I know I probably wouldn't have the patience to put up with the students and especially some of the parents. I would probably end up failing all of them and getting fired shortly thereafter. At least while teaching seminary, the kids at the very least a modicum of desire to be there each morning.

You probably know this already but I've learned that your past experiences are and will be invaluable to your future endeavors. Suerte
