2008 Vacation
Dad and I were talking the other day (with input from others) and we were discussing the family's anticipated vacation in 2008. I know Hawaii was discussed along with some places on the East Coast, i.e. Florida, Carolinas, Anadarko, (just kidding). But we were wondering if you would consider Cancun as a place to go. Having been there, it was cheaper than Hawaii and food, drink, air travel and lodging were all included in the price. It would be a great place for families and very relaxing. If people wanted to go on any tours or stuff like that that would be available right from the resort. We went the middle of May, which is right after Spring Break and before the Hurricane Season. We went for 7 days which was long. We could do a five day vacation which would obviously be cheaper. Everyone would have to get a passport, I guess. I am not sure of the age requirement. And some of you speak Spanish which would be great. Anyway, let us know what you think about that idea.

J/K (no, but seriously). I am down to see my peeps, teach, baptize and confirm in multitudes while in nothing but my speedo.
Let me clarify my blog - This is only a suggestion and to get the dialogue going. If we want to plan something it will be nice to get thinking about it. I was going to write also, about the beach down there by Galveston that Chad's friend said was way better than Cancun. Maybe the San Antonioites could respond about that. Also, all families could check on various locations and let us all know what they find out. If we don't get it going, it's not going to happen. But anything sounds fun to me.
Hey, we think Cancun would be cool. Mom, you mentioned something about age restrictions. Does this mean that the resort might have a restriction? Both Mayka and I would be down with going to a resort like the one you guys went to. It seems like it would make things a bit easier.
When I mentioned age restriction, I meant with passports. I didn't know if little ones needed one. But then Dad said he thinks they do. But, hey, they are good for ten years. But where we went there were all ages - lots of families. Very family-oriented - and did I mention, so much fun. And it did make everything a lot easier. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I'm up. I wonder if they have any Karaoke bars down there for Chad and Samantha.
I like the Cancun idea.
