"So I spent most of my time looking for beer."

"Fleshy headed mutant. Are you friendly?"

"No way, eh. Radiation has made me an enemy of civilization."

It's ten years after World War 4 (2051 A.D.) yet I am loving life with the creation of the best idea I have ever had. Do you see that artsy synthesis of genius and chrome in the picture above? I created it last week. It's my new shower head. It consists of a 2-channel water diverter, two adaptable low-flow shower heads, and an extender arm. Each of the two shower heads comes equipped with a shut-off valve so I can have none, one, or both going at the same time. Does your back get cold when you rinse your hair? Mine doesn't. How long does it take you to rinse yourself off? I bet it takes me half the time. When you have to share the shower, are you often left out in the cold shivering? I'm not. Let me know if you would like a consult. I guarantee my work to be finished in 10 weeks or less. ;-)

By the way, you can find the movie clip to which I alluded here.

Was Aiden in the shower with you? Just asking.

No, we usually let him play in the bath. Anyway, he wouldn't he appreciate it. However, when I get a longer arm (about 18 inches) he might like bringing the extended part of the shower to his height.

That is the funniest looking thing I've ever seen; and the shower is pretty funny too.

Anyway, the schematics would be much appreciated. You are one great handyman as far as I can tell.

The two shower heads can be seen here. You can get cheaper ones but I liked the manual shut off valves. Also, I paid about 12 bucks for each. The extender arm is something like the one shown here although the one I bought was about $15. I'm hoping to evenutally find one that is about twice as long with another hinge in the middle. I couldn't find the two channel valve online although I've seen something similar at Home Depot. It simply attaches to the pipe that comes out of the wall and has two channels for the water to traverse. It was really simple to install. The only thing that you would need but might not have is plumbing or teflon tape (?). I think that is what it is called. You wrap it around the threading to ensure a nice water seal. You can pick up a pack of 6 rolls at home depot for $3.
